Exploring Munnar in 2 days

  1. Day 1: Echo Point

The place is blessed with magnificently refreshing and soothing air and produces some of the finest tea in the world. The viewpoint is open from 6 am to 6 pm, and you can enjoy the sunrise or sunset depending on the time of your visit.

  4. Day 2: Mattupetty Dam
    40 minutes (14 km) from Munnar Town

    On Day 2, visit the Mattupetty Dam, one of the most popular tourist spots in Munnar. The dam is situated amidst sprawling tea plantations and forests. You can go for a speedboat ride or a paddleboat ride in the lake here and experience the scenic beauty of this serene place. The dam is open from 9:30 am to 5 pm daily.

  5. Day 2: Kundala Lake
    20 minutes (10 km) from Mattupetty Dam

    After the dam, head to Kundala Lake, which is a natural lake surrounded by lush greenery. You can go for a Shikara Boat Ride in the lake, which is a unique experience in itself. The lake is also home to the famous Neela Kurinji flowers that bloom once every twelve years. Kundala Lake is open from 9 am to 5 pm daily.
