Gokarna Adventurous 2-Day Itinerary

  1. Day 1: Beach Hopping and Trekking
10 mins (1.3 miles) from Gokarna Bus Station

Start your day early with a visit to Kudle Beach, one of the most popular beaches in Gokarna. This beautiful beach has a long shoreline with soft sand and clean water, perfect for surfing and swimming. After spending some time at Kudle Beach, head towards the lesser-known beach - Half Moon Beach. The only way to reach Half Moon Beach is through a short 20-minute trek from Om Beach. You can also take a boat ride to reach this beach. The trek through rocks and boulders is worth it, as the beach offers a serene environment with clear waters and little to no crowd. End your day with a visit to Om Beach, which is the only naturally Om-shaped beach in India. Known for its stunning sunset views, Om Beach is perfect for a relaxing evening stroll.

  2. Day 2: Water Sports and Temple Visit
15 mins (2.1 miles) from Om Beach

Start your day with a thrilling adventure at the Banana Boat Rides at Paradise Beach. The 20-minute ride is perfect for those who want to experience a fun-filled water activity. If you're looking for something more challenging, then head to Mirjan Fort, which is a 30-minute drive from Paradise Beach. The fort is situated amidst dense forest and offers a scenic view of the surrounding area. After spending some time at the fort, head towards the famous Mahabaleshwara Temple, which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. This ancient temple has a distinctive architectural style and houses a statue of Lord Shiva in the form of a lingam. The temple is surrounded by small shops where you can purchase souvenirs and local handicrafts.
