Three Days in Coorg

  1. Day 1: Abbey Falls
    20 minutes (9.5 km) from Madikeri

    Visit the stunning Abbey Falls, which offers a spectacular view of the waterfall amidst lush greenery. You can take a dip in the cool water and enjoy the beauty of nature. Take a walk through the spice plantations of coffee, cardamom, and pepper that surround the falls.

  2. Day 2: Talacauvery
    50 minutes (30 km) from Madikeri

    The birthplace of the sacred Cauvery River, Talacauvery is surrounded by beautiful mountains and greenery. Take a dip in the holy water tank and visit the nearby temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. You can also hike up to the nearby Brahmagiri Hill which offers breathtaking views of the surrounding forests.

  3. Day 3: Dubare Elephant Camp
    1 hour 15 minutes (40 km) from Madikeri

    At Dubare Elephant Camp, learn about the life of the majestic elephants and go on an elephant ride through the forest. You can also enjoy coracle rides on the river, bird watching, and trekking around the camp. Make sure to visit the nearby Namdroling Monastery, which is the largest teaching center of the Nyingma lineage of Tibetan Buddhism.
