The Edakkal Caves are natural caves located 1,200 meters above sea level. The caves have ancient rock carvings, dating back to the Neolithic era, that depict human and animal figures. It's a moderate 1-km uphill trek to the caves, but the picturesque view from the top is well worth the effort.

The Banasura Sagar Dam, the largest earthen dam in India, is situated amid lush greenery and rolling hills. You can go for a speedboat ride or a pedal boat ride on the dam's serene waters. There's also a small trek to the nearby hills that offer a panoramic view of the dam and its surroundings.
