3-Day Itinerary for Coorg

  1. Day 1: Coorg Sightseeing

    Begin your Coorg adventure with a visit to the Namdroling Monastery also known as the Golden Temple. This Buddhist monastery is home to over 5000 monks and is famous for its magnificent architecture and beautiful paintings. After that, head to the Madikeri Fort which is a historical landmark in Coorg built-in 17th century and catch a glimpse of the rich history of the town. Finally, don't miss the Raja's Seat for a breathtaking view of the sunset over the hills.

  2. Day 2: Waterfalls and Wildlife

    Start your day with a visit to the Abbey Falls, a popular tourist attraction in Coorg. Spend some time admiring the lush greenery and listening to the soothing sound of the water. Next, head to the Dubare Elephant Camp which is home to many elephants. You can learn about these majestic animals and also participate in activities like bathing and feeding them. End your day with a visit to the Nagarhole National Park, a wildlife sanctuary that is home to tigers, elephants, and many other species of animals.

  3. Day 3: Adventure and Coffee Plantations

    Start your day with a thrilling experience of white water rafting in the Barapole River, which is known for its rapids. Then head to the Chiklihole Reservoir for some kayaking or canoeing. End your trip with a visit to the Talacauvery temple which is located on the Brahmagiri hills and is the source of the River Cauvery.
