During your visit to Athens, public transportation is a cost-effective way to move around the city. The modern Athens Metro is safe, convenient, and easy to navigate. The daily ticket costs €4.50, and it's valid for all transportation modes (Metro, Bus, Tram). Taxis are also available, but the prices might be higher depending on the demand and time of the day.
If you have more time, we recommend visiting the Acropolis, one of the world's most famous landmarks, and watching the changing of the guard ceremony at the Parliament Building. If you have less time, you can adjust the itinerary by selecting two places instead of all four. Remember to wear comfortable shoes and clothing, drink plenty of water, and bring sunscreen and a hat during the summer months.
