Start your day with a visit to the iconic Charminar. This monument and mosque, built in 1591, is the city's most famous landmark. Take a stroll through the surrounding Laad Bazaar which is famous for its jewellery and traditional Hyderabadi bangles. After that, head to the nearby Chowmahalla Palace, a former residence of the Nizams of Hyderabad. This palace complex is renowned for its opulent architecture, beautiful courtyards, and vintage cars.
Today, visit the historic Golconda Fort that dates back to the 13th century. This magnificent fort complex is surrounded by lush greenery and offers panoramic views of the city. You can also see the acoustic wonders of the fort, where sounds from the entrance can be heard at the highest point of the fort. After that, head to the nearby Qutub Shahi Tombs, the final resting place of the rulers of the Qutub Shahi dynasty. On your final day, visit the Salar Jung Museum, one of the largest art museums in the world. It has a vast collection of art, artefacts, and antiques from various parts of the world including Asia, Europe, North America and Middle East. After that, head to the nearby Hussain Sagar Lake, a man-made lake built in 1563. You can enjoy a boat ride on the lake and view the iconic Buddha statue located in the middle of the lake.
