Two-Day Itinerary for Munnar and Kolukumalai

  1. Day 1: Explore Munnar

After the museum, head to the Mattupetty Dam, a popular tourist attraction known for its scenic beauty. Here, you can enjoy boating, horse riding, and trekking. Next, visit the Kundala Lake, which is surrounded by lush greenery and offers a serene atmosphere. Take a stroll around the lake and enjoy the scenic views. End your day with a visit to the Blossom Hydel Park, which is a beautiful park with a variety of flowers and plants. It also has a play area for children and a small waterfall.

  2. Day 2: Kolukumalai Tea Estate
    1 hour 15 minutes (28.4 miles) from Munnar Bus Stand

    Start your day early and head to the Kolukumalai Tea Estate, which is one of the highest tea plantations in the world. You can take a jeep safari to the estate and witness the beautiful sunrise from the top of the hills. After the safari, take a guided tour of the tea factory and learn about the tea-making process. You can also enjoy a cup of freshly brewed tea while enjoying the scenic views of the plantation. End your day with a visit to the Top Station, which is the highest point in Munnar.
