The sanctuary covers an area of 105 sq. km and is home to numerous species of flora and fauna. You can take a jeep safari and explore the dense forests to spot wild animals like tigers, elephants, and deer. You can also go hiking and trekking on the numerous trails in the sanctuary. The Brahmagiri Peak, the highest peak in the sanctuary, offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape.

  2. Day 2: Abbey Falls
    45 minutes (13 miles) from Talakaveri Wildlife Sanctuary

    Abbey Falls is a beautiful waterfall nestled in the Western Ghats. The waterfall is surrounded by lush greenery and coffee plantations, making it a perfect spot for a family picnic. You can take a walk around the area and explore the surrounding plantations. You can also take a dip in the pool at the base of the waterfall to cool off from the heat. Be sure to carry your camera to capture the beauty of the waterfall.
