Dubai Mall is the largest shopping mall in the world. It has over 1,200 stores and a wide range of dining options. Apart from shopping, families can enjoy several attractions such as the Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo, VR Park, KidZania, and an ice rink. In the evening, we recommend visiting the Dubai Fountain for a stunning water and light show.
Global Village is a cultural and entertainment destination that opens from October to April. It showcases different countries' cultures, traditions, and cuisines through pavilions, stage shows, and street performances. Families can have fun riding carnival rides, watching circus acts, shopping for souvenirs, and tasting global foods. In the evening, there's a fireworks show that lights up the night sky.
Wild Wadi Water Park is a thrill-seeker's paradise with over 30 rides and attractions. It has something for everyone, from the lazy river to the adrenaline-pumping Jumeirah Sceirah. Families can also enjoy the wave pool, children's play area, and dining options. We recommend coming early to avoid the crowds and the heat.
Dubai Miracle Garden is the world's largest flower garden with over 45 million flowers and themed displays such as the Emirates A380 plane and Mickey Mouse. Families can take a stroll among the colourful blooms, take photos, and enjoy the butterfly garden and the floral clock. We recommend visiting in the morning or late afternoon to avoid the heat and crowds.
If you have more time, we suggest visiting the Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building, and taking the At The Top tour for a panoramic view of Dubai (book in advance). You can also take a desert safari tour to see the sand dunes, ride a camel, and watch a belly dancing show. To beat the heat, you can visit the indoor theme park IMG Worlds of Adventure or the Dubai Mall's indoor ski resort. Don't forget to try the local cuisine such as shawarma, falafel, and hummus. Lastly, we recommend bringing sunscreen, comfortable shoes, and a refillable water bottle.
