A 3-Day Itinerary for North Goa in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Calangute Beach
20 minutes (6.2 km) from Thivim Railway Station

Enjoy a day at the Calangute Beach, the largest beach in North Goa. With its vast expanse of sand, calm waters, and picturesque surroundings, it's the perfect place to unwind and relax. You can also indulge in water sports like parasailing, jet skiing, and banana boat rides. There are several shacks and restaurants along the beach that serve delicious Goan food and drinks. Don't forget to catch the beautiful sunset in the evening!

  2. Day 2: Fort Aguada
15 minutes (4.7 km) from Calangute Beach

Visit Fort Aguada, a Portuguese fort that was built in the early 17th century to protect against Dutch and Maratha invasions. The fort offers stunning views of the Arabian Sea and the Mandovi River. You can explore the lighthouse, the barracks, and the ammunition room inside the fort. There's also a small museum that showcases the history of the fort and the Portuguese rule in Goa.

  3. Day 3: Dudhsagar Falls
1 hour 40 minutes (62.5 km) from Fort Aguada

Take a day trip to the majestic Dudhsagar Falls, one of the highest waterfalls in India. The falls are located in the Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary and Mollem National Park and are surrounded by lush green forests. You can go trekking, swimming, and take a dip in the natural pools of the waterfall. The falls are at their best during the monsoon season, so June is the perfect time to visit.
