Exploring Yercaud in 5 Days

  1. Day 1: Yercaud Lake

    Start your journey by visiting the Yercaud Lake which is also known as Emerald Lake. Enjoy a peaceful boat ride in the tranquil waters of the lake surrounded by lush green hills. The lake is also an ideal spot for a refreshing morning walk. There are several food vendors and small shops around the lake to grab a quick bite or souvenir.

  2. Day 2: Lady's Seat and Pagoda Point
    20 minutes (5.5 km) from Yercaud Lake

    Visit Lady's Seat, a panoramic viewpoint that offers a spectacular view of the Salem valley. The view is especially breathtaking during sunrise and sunset. From there, head to Pagoda Point which is a scenic viewpoint surrounded by pagoda-like structures. The viewpoint offers stunning views of the city and the hills.

  3. Day 3: Kiliyur Falls
    30 minutes (7.7 km) from Pagoda Point

    Take a trek to Kiliyur Falls which is a majestic waterfall cascading down from the Shevaroy Hills. The trek to the falls is a bit challenging but the lush green surroundings and the cool breeze make it all worth it. The best time to visit the falls is during the monsoon season when the water flow is at its peak.

  4. Day 4: Anna Park and Deer Park
    15 minutes (3.8 km) from Kiliyur Falls

    Visit Anna Park and Deer Park which are located adjacent to each other. Anna Park is a beautifully landscaped garden with a variety of flowers and plants. The park also has a children's play area, a small pond, and a Japanese garden. Deer Park is home to several deer and other animals. You can also feed the deer here.

  5. Day 5: Shevaroy Temple
    30 minutes (9.5 km) from Deer Park

    End your trip by visiting the Shevaroy Temple which is a popular Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shevaroyan. The temple is situated on top of the Shevaroy Hills at an altitude of 5326 feet above sea level. The temple offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding hills.
