3-Day Family-Friendly Itinerary for Dwarka in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Dwarkadhish Temple
    10 minutes (2 km) from Railway Station

    In the morning, visit the Dwarkadhish Temple, one of the most revered Hindu temples in India. The grand temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna and houses various shrines and idols. In the afternoon, head to Rukmini Devi Temple, located just 2 km away, to explore its intricate architecture and beautiful idols. In the evening, take a stroll at Dwarka Beach, located just a 10-minute walk away, and enjoy the stunning sunset.

  2. Day 2: Bet Dwarka and Nageshwar Jyotirlinga Temple
    1 hour 30 minutes (33 km) from Dwarkadhish Temple

    Start your day early and head to Bet Dwarka, an island situated in the Gulf of Kutch, accessible by ferry from Okha. Visit the famous Krishna temple, believed to be the original residence of Lord Krishna. On the way back, stop at Nageshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India. In the afternoon, head to Gomti Ghat and take a boat ride to see the various temples and ghats. In the evening, visit the Gita Mandir to witness the beautiful light and sound show.
