Exploring Family-Friendly Wayanad in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary

Afternoon- Visit the tribal village located inside the sanctuary to learn about their unique way of life. Evening- Relax at the serene Kuruva Island, which is located nearby.

  2. Day 2: Edakkal Caves
    40 minutes (17 miles) from Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary

    Morning- Trek up to the Edakkal caves, which are located on a hill and offer stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Afternoon- Visit the nearby Soochipara Waterfalls and take a dip in the refreshing waters. Evening- Explore the nearby Jain Temple and learn about its ancient history.

  3. Day 3: Banasura Sagar Dam
    1 hour (23 miles) from Edakkal Caves
