You can hire a boat to sail on the calm water or just sit by the lake and enjoy the serene atmosphere. Afternoon could be spent visiting the nearby Government Botanical Garden, a place that is home to various species of plants, trees and flowers. Come evening, head to the Doddabetta Peak. It is the highest mountain peak in Nilgiri Hills and offers stunning views of the surrounding valleys and hills.

  2. Day 2: Pykara Falls
    45 minutes (20 km) from Ooty Bus Stand

    Begin your day with a visit to the Pykara Falls, located amidst lush green forests and hills. The waterfall is divided into two sections and offers breathtaking views. Afternoon could be spent exploring the nearby Pykara Lake, take a boat ride or go for a hike in the surrounding area. Come evening, visit the Rose Garden, a place that is home to over 2000 varieties of roses and other flowers. The garden also has a beautiful collection of trees and plants.
