    Ooty lake is an artificial lake constructed in 1824 by John Sullivan, the founder of Ooty. It is surrounded by Eucalyptus trees and is a popular boating site. Tourists can enjoy boating, horse riding, and cycling around the lake while enjoying the scenic views of the Nilgiris.

    The Government Botanical Garden was established in 1848 and is spread over 55 acres of land. It is home to more than 650 species of plants and trees, including a fossilized tree that is believed to be more than 20 million years old. The garden also has a beautiful Italian-style garden, a fern house, a conservatory, and a flower show held every May.

    The Tea Museum is located in the Doddabetta Tea Factory and was established to showcase the history and evolution of tea production in the Nilgiris. The museum has displays of the tea production process, antique tea-making equipment, and the history of tea in India. Visitors can also taste different varieties of tea at the museum's tea bar.

    15 minutes (4.2 km) from Tea Museum

    The Thread Garden is a unique attraction in Ooty that has more than 150 varieties of flowers and plants created entirely out of thread. The garden is a result of 12 years of hard work by a team of 50 skilled artisans. Visitors can take a guided tour of the garden and marvel at the intricate thread work done by the artisans.
