Two-Day Nature Itinerary for Wayanad in July 2024

  1. Day 1: Banasura Sagar Dam
    1-hour drive (22 miles) from Kalpetta

    Morning: Start your day with a visit to Banasura Sagar Dam, the largest earthen dam in India. Enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and the turquoise waters of the dam. Take a pedal boat ride to admire the lush green islands in the middle of the reservoir.

  2. Day 2: Chembra Peak
    1-hour drive (8 miles) from Kalpetta

    Morning: Start your day early and trek to Chembra Peak, the highest peak in Wayanad. The highlight of the trek is the heart-shaped lake, which is a picturesque spot for photography.
