Four Days of City Experiences in Ajmer

  1. Day 1: Ajmer Sharif Dargah

The museum's highlight is the Swarna Nagari, a golden city that describes the Jain philosophy of the cycle of life and death.

  2. Day 2: Taragarh Fort and Adhai-din-ka-Jhonpra Mosque

    In the morning, visit the Taragarh Fort, also known as Ajmer Durg. The fort offers a mesmerizing view of the city and is a great spot if you want to capture some panoramic shots of the city. In the afternoon, head to the Adhai-din-ka-Jhonpra Mosque, a remarkable Indo-Islamic architecture. Built-in just two and a half days, the mosque is renowned for its beautiful calligraphy, intricate carvings, and unique blend of Hindu and Islamic styles. In the evening, take a stroll in the Akbari Fort and Museum, which has a great collection of Mughal and Rajput-era artifacts and paintings.

  3. Day 3: Mayo College and Prithviraj Smarak

  4. Day 4: Ajmer Museum and Foy Sagar Lake

    In the morning, visit the Ajmer Museum, which has a great collection of Mughal and Rajput-era artifacts. The museum's highlight is the Mughal court tent, which was used by Emperor Shah Jahan during his campaigns. In the afternoon, head to the Foy Sagar Lake, a beautiful artificial lake built by an Englishman, Mr. Foy. The lake offers stunning views of the surrounding hills and is a great place for a picnic. Recommendations

When in Ajmer, you can also visit the Brahma Temple in Pushkar, which is just 15 km away. The temple is one of the few dedicated to Lord Brahma, the creator of the universe, and is famous for its annual camel fair. You can also take a trip to the Kumbhalgarh Fort, which is a two-hour drive from Ajmer. The fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is renowned for its long wall, which is the second longest wall in the world after the Great Wall of China.
