  1. Day 1: Dubare Elephant Camp

    Tadiandamol Peak is the highest peak in Coorg and is a popular trekking destination. The trek is moderately difficult and takes about 5 hours to reach the top. You can also visit the nearby Chelavara Falls for a refreshing swim before heading back to your hotel.

  7. Day 7: Dubare Elephant Camp
    2 hours (91.8 km) from Tadiandamol Peak

    Wrap up your trip with a return visit to the Dubare Elephant Camp, where you can spend the day taking an elephant ride, watching them in their natural habitat, and learning about their history in Coorg. In the evening, drive back to the airport or train station for your departure.

Recommendations

Coorg is also known for its coffee plantations, so consider visiting one of the many coffee estates for a tour and a tasting. You can also visit the Namdroling Monastery, which is the largest teaching center of the Nyingma lineage of Tibetan Buddhism outside Tibet. Another day trip could be to the Nagarhole National Park, which is about 2 hours from Coorg, to see tigers, leopards, wild dogs, and elephants in their natural habitat.
