During the trip, we highly recommend taking a mix of ferries and flights to travel between the islands. Travelers should expect to spend approximately €500 on transportation costs. The total travel time, including both air and sea travel, will be approximately 40 hours.
If you have more time, consider adding a few more days in Athens to visit the National Archaeological Museum or the Temple of Olympian Zeus. If you have less time, consider skipping some of the islands or reducing the length of your stay on each island.
