Vasuki Tal is a pristine high altitude lake located at an elevation of 14,200 ft above sea level. The trek to Vasuki Tal is an adventure in itself, with the trail passing through lush green forests, cascading waterfalls, and snow-clad mountain peaks. The morning is the ideal time to start the trek as the weather is clear and cool. The trek takes approximately 5 hours to complete. Afternoon and evening can be spent enjoying the stunning views of the surrounding peaks and camping near the lake under the starry sky.
If you have an extra day, you can visit the Triyuginarayan Temple, which is located at a distance of 26 km from Kedarnath. It is believed to be the place where Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati got married. You can also take a dip in the Tapt Kund hot water spring, which is considered to have medicinal properties.
