In the morning, start the day by going to Dal Lake, the most famous attraction in Srinagar. Spend some time on a Shikara ride, a wooden boat that will take you to some of the beautiful gardens and floating markets on the lake. In the afternoon, visit the Mughal Gardens, a group of four terraced gardens featuring beautiful flowers, fountains, and symmetrical layouts. In the evening, visit Pari Mahal, a seven-terraced garden with a stunning view of the city.
Start your journey early in the morning to reach Sonamarg. On the way, visit the Kheer Bhawani Temple, a holy shrine dedicated to the goddess Ragnya Bhagwati. After reaching Sonamarg, explore the Thajiwas Glacier, a beautiful glacier that is accessible via pony rides. In the evening, visit Gangabal Lake, a high altitude lake on the foothills of Mount Haramukh.
Head towards Gulmarg early in the morning. Take the Gondola Cable Car, which offers two phases of the ride. Phase 1 takes you to Kongdoori Station (8530 ft) and Phase 2 takes you to the Apharwat Peak (13,780 ft). In the afternoon, go for a horse ride in the breathtaking meadows of Gulmarg. In the evening, visit the Alpather Lake, a high altitude lake surrounded by snow-capped mountains.
On the last day, head towards Pahalgam, which is known as the "Valley of Shepherds". En route, visit the Awantipora Ruins, a group of temples built in the 8th century. After reaching Pahalgam, go for a pony ride to Baisaran, a lush meadow surrounded by pine forests. In the evening, visit the Aru Valley, a scenic valley located at an altitude of 2500 meters.
If you have extra time, you can visit the Betaab Valley in Pahalgam, which was named after the Bollywood movie, Betaab. You can also visit the Shankaracharya Hill, which offers a panoramic view of Srinagar. For side trips, you can visit the Lolab Valley, which is known for its apple orchards and forested hills.
