The Kedarnath Temple is a sacred Hindu shrine situated in the Rudra Himalaya Range. Vasuki Tal is a picturesque lake nestled in the midst of the Himalayas. It is believed to be the abode of Lord Vishnu and is surrounded by snow-covered peaks and lush green forests. Start early in the morning to reach the lake by noon. The trek to the lake is a challenging one and takes approximately 6-7 hours, but the view of the lake is worth it. Spend the afternoon by the lake, enjoying a picnic and taking in the beautiful scenery. On the way back, you can stop at Gandhi Sarovar, a glacial lake named after Mahatma Gandhi, for a quick visit.
