Honeymoon Itinerary for Rishikesh in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Neer Garh Waterfall
    30 minutes (8.5 miles) from Rishikesh

    Neer Garh Waterfall is a stunning waterfall located in the serene surrounding of Rishikesh. The waterfall is located in the middle of a dense forest and the trek to reach the waterfall is a total delight for nature lovers. The trek is not difficult and is also popular among beginners. The waterfall cascades from a height of 50 feet and the view from the top is breathtaking. Spend your morning trekking to the waterfall and taking a dip in the refreshing water. In the afternoon, click some beautiful pictures and enjoy a picnic lunch with your partner. In the evening, return to Rishikesh and spend some time exploring the local markets.

  2. Day 2: Triveni Ghat
    10 minutes (1.6 miles) from Rishikesh

    Triveni Ghat is a sacred bathing ghat located at the confluence of three holy rivers- Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati. The ghat is considered to be one of the most important religious places in Rishikesh. Start your morning by taking a dip in the holy waters and performing a puja with your partner. In the afternoon, visit the nearby Lakshman Jhula- a hanging bridge over the river Ganga that offers stunning views of the river and the surrounding mountains. In the evening, attend the famous Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat.

  3. Day 3: The Beatles Ashram
    15 minutes (3.5 miles) from Rishikesh

    The Beatles Ashram is a famous ashram located in Rishikesh that once hosted the popular rock band- The Beatles. The ashram has now been converted into a tourist attraction and is a must-visit for music lovers. Spend your morning exploring the abandoned meditation huts and murals inspired by The Beatles songs. In the afternoon, visit the nearby Rajaji National Park and take a jungle safari with your partner. In the evening, attend a yoga and meditation session at the Parmarth Niketan Ashram.

Don't miss the opportunity to enjoy a rafting session in the river Ganga or try out the famous camp stay experience in Rishikesh. The nearby town of Haridwar is also worth a visit and you can take a day trip to visit the famous Har Ki Pauri ghat.
