Family-Friendly 6-Day Darjeeling Itinerary - January 2024

  1. Day 1: Tiger Hill
    20 minutes (8.1 km) from Darjeeling town

    Wake up early to drive to Tiger Hill and witness a breathtaking sunrise view. Warm up with a cup of Darjeeling tea and enjoy the panoramic views of the Himalayan Range. After breakfast, visit the Ghoom Monastery and the Batasia Loop. Finish the day with a stroll around Chowrasta mall and indulge in some local momos and thukpa.

  2. Day 2: Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park

    Spend the morning at the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute to learn about mountaineering in the Himalayas. Afterward, visit the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park to see the rare Red Panda, Himalayan Black Bear, and Snow Leopard. For the evening, explore the Darjeeling Tea gardens and take a joyride on the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway.

  3. Day 3: Singalila National Park
