Start your day with a visit to the Ooty Lake, located at the heart of the city. This scenic lake surrounded by eucalyptus trees is the perfect spot for a morning stroll. You can also enjoy boating on the lake or go for a horse ride around the lake. In the afternoon, visit the Deer Park located adjacent to the lake. This park is home to a variety of deer species and you can also spot peacocks and rabbits. In the evening, head to the Thread Garden, a unique park where everything is made of thread. You can see beautiful flowers, plants, and even animals made entirely of thread.
Start your day early and head to Doddabetta Peak, the highest peak in the Nilgiri Mountains. The drive itself is breathtaking and the view from the top is even more spectacular, with a panoramic view of the surrounding valleys and hills. You can also visit the Doddabetta Tea Factory on your way back. In the afternoon, visit the Avalanche Lake, located about 30 km from Ooty. This secluded lake surrounded by dense forest and rolling hills is perfect for a peaceful picnic. In the evening, head back to Ooty and visit the Wax World Museum, to see life-like wax statues of famous personalities.

Another popular attraction is the Toy Train, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The train runs from Ooty to Coonoor and offers stunning views of the Nilgiri Mountains.
