  3. Day 3: Madmaheshwar Temple

    This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is situated at an altitude of 3289 meters above sea level. It is believed that the navel and stomach of Lord Shiva appeared at this spot. The temple is surrounded by beautiful meadows and offers stunning views of the Himalayas. Spend the morning at the temple, explore the nearby areas and return to Kedarnath by evening.

  4. Day 4: Gandhi Sarovar
    1 hour 30 minutes (6.5 miles) from Kedarnath Temple

    This glacial lake is situated at an altitude of 4300 meters above sea level and is named after Mahatma Gandhi. It is believed that he visited the lake in 1947. The lake is a popular trekking destination and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Start your trek early in the morning, have a picnic lunch by the lake and return to Kedarnath by evening.

  5. Day 5: Shankaracharya Samadhi

    This samadhi is dedicated to Adi Shankaracharya who is believed to have established the Kedarnath temple. The samadhi is situated near the Kedarnath temple and is surrounded by beautiful gardens.
