Rishikesh 3-Day Itinerary (June 2023)

  1. Day 1: Lakshman Jhula and Triveni Ghat
    10 minutes (1.3 miles) from Rishikesh Bus Stand

    In the morning, visit Lakshman Jhula, a 450-feet long suspension bridge that crosses the Ganges. Take a walk on the bridge and take in the breathtaking view of the river and the surrounding areas. In the afternoon, go to Triveni Ghat, a bathing ghat located on the banks of the Ganges. Witness the evening aarti ceremony and take a dip in the holy river. In the evening, head to one of the nearby cafes for some local cuisine and enjoy the lively atmosphere of the town.

  2. Day 2: Neer Garh Waterfall and Beatles Ashram
    30 minutes (6.7 miles) from Triveni Ghat

    Start the day early and head to Neer Garh Waterfall, located about 4 km from Rishikesh. Take a dip in the natural pool and relax by the waterfall. In the afternoon, visit the Beatles Ashram, which is now an abandoned ashram covered in beautiful graffiti. Take a guided tour and learn about the history of the ashram and its connection to the legendary band. In the evening, head back to Rishikesh and enjoy some local street food.

  3. Day 3: Rajaji National Park and Parmarth Niketan
    1 hour 20 minutes (24 miles) from Beatles Ashram

    Start the day early and head to Rajaji National Park, which is home to a variety of wildlife including tigers, elephants, and leopards. Take a safari and explore the natural beauty of the park. In the afternoon, head back to Rishikesh and visit Parmarth Niketan, a beautiful ashram located on the banks of the Ganges. Attend the evening aarti ceremony and take part in a yoga or meditation session. In the evening, head to one of the nearby restaurants for a delicious dinner.
