Relaxation in Rishikesh - 3 Day Itinerary

  1. Day 1: Triveni Ghat
    15 minutes (3.5 km) from Rishikesh Bus Stand

    In the morning, head to Triveni Ghat to witness the daily Ganga Aarti. The sounds of bells and chants mixed with the fragrance of incense sticks and flowers make for a serene atmosphere. Take a dip in the holy river and enjoy a peaceful boat ride. In the afternoon, visit the Beatles Ashram, where the iconic band stayed in the 60s and wrote many of their songs. Finally, witness the sunset at Parmarth Niketan Ashram and attend the evening Ganga Aarti.

  2. Day 2: Neer Garh Waterfall and Vashistha Cave
    30 minutes (9 km) from Triveni Ghat

    Get an early start today and head to Neer Garh Waterfall. The hike to the falls is a bit steep but the view is worth it. The cool water is a refreshing break from the heat. Enjoy a picnic lunch and head to Vashistha Cave, where the sage Vashistha meditated. The cave is peaceful and has a natural water spring inside. Return to Rishikesh and enjoy some shopping at the local markets in the evening.

  3. Day 3: Kunjapuri Temple and Rajaji National Park
    1 hour 30 minutes (40 km) from Rishikesh Bus Stand

    Get an early start and head to Kunjapuri Temple for a stunning sunrise view of the Himalayas. After breakfast, head to Rajaji National Park for a jungle safari. The park is home to many animals such as elephants, tigers, leopards, and bears. In the evening, return to Rishikesh and enjoy a relaxing Ayurvedic massage to end the trip.
