Family-Friendly 7-Day Itinerary for Seoul in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Gyeongbokgung Palace
    10 minutes (2.1 km) from Jongno

    Visit the Gyeongbokgung Palace in the morning. Watch the Royal Guard Changing Ceremony at 10:00 am. Explore the National Palace Museum of Korea in the afternoon. Experience the traditional Korean culture by trying on Hanbok and take pictures in the palace.

  2. Day 2: Lotte World

  3. Day 3: Namsan Tower

  6. Day 6: Myeong-dong
    40 minutes (22.6 km) from Everland

    Take a day to go shopping and eat at the Myeong-dong district. The area has hundreds of shops selling fashion, cosmetics, and souvenirs. Try street food like tteokbokki, mandu, and hotteok.

  7. Day 7: Bukchon Hanok Village
    20 minutes (6.9 km) from Myeong-dong

    End your trip by visiting the Bukchon Hanok Village, a traditional Korean village that showcases the Korean architecture and culture. Try on Hanbok, and take pictures in front of the traditional Korean houses. Then, visit the shops, cafes, and galleries.

Recommendations

If you have time, visit the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone), the border between North and South Korea. It is an interesting and unique experience. Also, try Korean dishes like bibimbap, kimchi, and bulgogi. If you have children, take them to the Han River and enjoy a picnic or rent bicycles.
