A 7-Day Adventurous Itinerary in Leh, July 2023

  1. Day 1: Hemis National Park

    In the morning, drive to the Magnetic Hill and witness the optical illusion where the vehicle appears to roll uphill. In the afternoon, visit the Alchi Monastery, a 1000-year-old gompa. In the evening, have a picnic at the Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, a Sikh shrine built in honor of Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

  7. Day 7: Leh Palace
    5-minute walk (0.5 miles) from Downtown Leh

    In the morning, visit the Leh Palace, a 17th-century palace and a former residence of the royal family. In the afternoon, visit the Shanti Stupa, a white-domed Buddhist stupa and enjoy the panoramic view of the city. In the evening, explore the local market and shop for souvenirs.
