In the morning, visit Adhai Din Ka Jhonpra, a mosque and a tourist attraction which is 800 years old. It was originally built as a Sanskrit college and was later converted into a mosque by Qutubuddin Aibak. The unique architecture of this mosque is a blend of Indo-Islamic style. Then, visit the Taragarh Fort which is a 10-minute walk from here and is an epitome of the Rajputana architecture. Later, enjoy a hearty Rajasthani lunch at one of the many food joints around the Dargah Bazar area. Spend the evening at Ana Sagar Lake which is a popular picnic spot among locals and tourists alike.
Begin your day by visiting Nasiyan Jain Temple, also known as the Red Temple. The temple is a perfect example of ornate architecture and is dedicated to the first Jain Tirthankara, Rishabhanatha. The temple is divided into two parts - the first part houses a museum of Jainism, and the second part is the main temple. Then, visit the Akbari Fort and Museum which is a 20-minute walk from here and showcases the history of Ajmer. Later, enjoy some local street food at the nearby JLN Marg and then head to the Ajmer Sharif Dargah for the evening. The shrine is the tomb of Sufi Saint Moinuddin Chisti and is visited by people from all religions.
On your last day, visit the Foy Sagar Lake in the morning. The lake is an artificial lake and is surrounded by the Aravalli Hills. It is a perfect place to enjoy a serene morning and the beautiful views. Next, visit the Prithviraj Smarak which is a 25-minute drive from here and is a tribute to the brave Rajput king Prithviraj Chauhan. Then, head to the nearby Mayo College Museum which is a 10-minute walk from here and showcases the lifestyle of the royal Rajput families. End your trip by enjoying a delicious Rajasthani Thali at one of the many restaurants around the Museum.
If you have extra time, you can visit the nearby Pushkar which is just 30 minutes away and is famous for its Brahma Temple and the Pushkar Lake. You can also take a day trip to the Kishangarh Fort and Palace which is an hour's drive from Ajmer. Alternatively, you can take a camel safari to explore the desert and the nearby villages.
