Transportation

Berlin has an extensive public transport system, including buses, trams, U-Bahn and S-Bahn trains, which are connected to the city's two airports, Tegel and Schönefeld. A one-way ticket costs 2.90 EUR, but a day pass or group tickets can be more economical. Taxis are also readily available, but it can be expensive to use them for long distances. For trips outside the city, trains are the most convenient option.

Useful Tips

If you have more time, consider taking a day trip to Potsdam to visit the stunning Sanssouci Palace, or to the bustling city of Leipzig. If you have less than 4 days, consider skipping out on the Tropical Islands Resort and focus on exploring more of the city instead. Additionally, Berlin's street food scene is a must-try, so be sure to sample some local favorites such as currywurst, döner kebab, and schnitzel.
