Start your day by visiting Triveni Sangam, the confluence of three sacred rivers. Take a boat ride to see the spot where the brown Ganges, the greenish-brown Yamuna and the blue Saraswati rivers meet. You can also visit the nearby Hanuman Temple, which offers a great view of the Sangam.
Learn about the history and culture of the city at Allahabad Museum. The museum has a good collection of archaeological and art objects, including rare coins, paintings, sculptures and manuscripts. It also has a planetarium and a library.
Spend your morning exploring Khusro Bagh, a beautiful garden complex that houses the tombs of Prince Khusro, Shah Begum and Nesa Begum. The garden has numerous trees, including mango, guava and banana. It is a great place for a picnic with your family.
In the afternoon, head to Anand Bhavan. The ancestral home of the Nehru family, now converted into a museum, showcases the life of the Nehru family and the Indian independence movement. The museum has a good collection of photographs, documents and personal belongings of the Nehru family.
Enjoy a day in the lush green surroundings of Company Gardens. The gardens offer a range of activities for children, including a small zoo, a toy train, a musical fountain and boating facilities. There is also a restaurant in the garden serving snacks and refreshments.
On your last day, visit All Saints Cathedral, one of the oldest churches in Allahabad. The church has beautiful stained glass windows and a peaceful atmosphere. Afterward, you can head to Civil Lines, a shopping area popular among locals, to buy some souvenirs.

If you have an extra day, you can take a day trip to Chitrakoot, a small town famous for its natural beauty and religious significance. You can also visit Vindhyachal, a religious town located about 80 km from Allahabad, which is known for its temples and stunning scenery.
