North Goa 3-Day Family Friendly Itinerary in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Fort Aguada
    20 minutes (8.4 km) from Dabolim Airport

    Morning: Explore Fort Aguada and enjoy the panoramic views of the Arabian Sea. Get a glimpse into Goa's colonial past and learn about its significance as a defense against the Dutch and Marathas.
    Afternoon: Take a dip in the pristine Sinquerim Beach, located below the fort. The beach offers adventure water sports such as parasailing, banana boat rides and jet ski rides.
    Evening: End your day with a sunset boat cruise, which offers a breathtaking view of the Fort and the surrounding landscape.

  2. Day 2: Basilica of Bom Jesus
    1 hour (28 km) from Fort Aguada

    Morning: Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Basilica of Bom Jesus. Admire the Baroque architecture of the church, which contains the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier.
    Afternoon: Head to Dona Paula Beach, where you can take a dip in the sea or sunbathe on the beach. The beach also offers water sports, such as windsurfing and water skiing.
    Evening: Enjoy the vibrant nightlife of Panaji, the capital city of Goa. Visit the popular Tito's Lane, which is lined with restaurants, bars, and clubs.

  3. Day 3: Dudhsagar Waterfalls
    2.5 hours (75 km) from Basilica of Bom Jesus

    Morning: Head to the Dudhsagar Waterfalls, which is one of India's tallest waterfalls. You can take a dip in the cool waters of the falls and enjoy the lush greenery.
    Afternoon: Explore the spice plantations of Ponda, which are located close to the falls. Walk through the plantation, see how spices are grown and harvested, and enjoy a traditional Goan lunch.
    Evening: Return to your hotel and relax before your departure.
