  1. Day 1: Trek to the Holy Cave

Start your journey on foot or hire a pony or palanquin to ride on. On the way, you will come across several shops selling refreshments and snacks. Make sure to reach the Holy Cave before evening as it closes after sunset.

    Afternoon: Spend your afternoon exploring the Holy Cave, which is considered to be one of the holiest shrines in India. Take blessings from the three goddesses: Maha Kali, Maha Lakshmi and Maha Saraswati. You can also visit the Bhairon Temple, which is located nearby.

    Evening: Witness the mesmerizing Aarti ceremony at the Holy Cave in the evening. The ceremony is performed with great zeal and devotion. After the ceremony, head back to Katra and rest for the night.

  2. Day 2: Bangedni Peak Trekking
    Starting point: Ardhkuwari Temple

    Morning: Start your day early by heading to Ardhkuwari Temple, which is approximately 6 km from Katra. From here, start your trek to Bangedni Peak, which is located at an altitude of 6,120 feet above sea level. The trek is approximately 8 km long and takes around 3-4 hours to complete. The trail is scenic and passes through dense forests and waterfalls.

    Afternoon: Spend your afternoon taking in the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains from the Bangedni Peak. You can also have a picnic lunch here.

    Evening: Head back to Katra and explore the local markets and shops. You can buy souvenirs and local handicrafts here. End your day by enjoying a delicious dinner at one of the local restaurants.
