Nature Lover's 3-Day Itinerary in Pune, July 2023

  1. Day 1: Sinhagad Fort
    1 hour (20.7 km) from Pune Railway Station

    Start your morning early and head out to Sinhagad Fort, a historical fortress located on a hilltop in the Western Ghats. The drive up to the fort takes around 30 minutes, with scenic views of the surrounding hills and lush green forests. Afternoon, head to Khadakwasla Dam, 20 minutes away (10.4 km), for a peaceful picnic lunch by the waterside. Spend your evening unwinding at Pashan Lake, 40 minutes away (12.5 km) from the dam.   2. Day 2: Mulshi Dam and Tamhini Ghat

    Drive to Mulshi Dam, a 2-hour scenic drive (46.7 km) from Pashan Lake. The dam is a beautiful spot surrounded by lush green hills and forests. The park is dedicated to the conservation of snakes and has a wide range of species on display. Spend the evening visiting the famous Dagdusheth Halwai Ganapati Temple, a 20-minute drive (6 km) from the snake park.
