Pokhara 2-Day Itinerary for June 2023

  1. Day 1: Phewa Lake
    10 minutes (2.3 km) from Pokhara Airport

    In the morning, head to Phewa Lake, the second largest lake in Nepal. Take a boat ride to the Tal Barahi Temple located in the middle of the lake. Enjoy a breathtaking view of the Annapurna mountain range from the temple. In the afternoon, explore the nearby Lakeside area, filled with restaurants, shops, and cafes. In the evening, watch the sunset over the lake from one of the many rooftop bars in the area.

  2. Day 2: World Peace Pagoda
    30 minutes (5.8 km) from Lakeside

    In the morning, visit the World Peace Pagoda, a Buddhist stupa located on top of a hill overlooking the city and the Annapurna mountain range. Take a boat ride across the lake and hike up the hill to reach the pagoda. In the afternoon, visit the International Mountain Museum to learn about the history and culture of mountaineering in the Himalayas. In the evening, head to the Old Bazaar area to explore the local market and try some traditional Nepalese dishes.
