3-Day Itinerary for Bangalore in August 2023

  1. Day 1: Bangalore Palace
    15 minutes (4.5 km) from Kempegowda International Airport

    In the morning, explore the Bangalore Palace. This palace was built in 1878 and is a great representation of the Tudor-style architecture. You will be amazed by the palace's intricate wood carvings, gothic windows, and beautiful paintings. After lunch, head to the Bull Temple located in Basavanagudi, one of the oldest temples in Bangalore. It is famous for its huge bull statue, which is said to be carved out of a single rock. In the evening, head to Cubbon Park, spread over 300 acres of land, and is a great place to spend a relaxing evening.

  2. Day 2: Wonderla Amusement Park
    1 hour 5 minutes (30 km) from Bangalore Palace

    Start your day early and head to Wonderla Amusement Park. This amusement park is famous for its high-thrill rides and fun water rides. You can also try some delicious food at the food court inside the park. After spending the day at Wonderla, head to the nearby Innovative Film City, an entertainment hub that consists of a theme park, water park, and a variety of museums. End your day at the Vidhana Soudha, an impressive building built in the neo-Dravidian style that houses the state legislature.

  3. Day 3: Lalbagh Botanical Gardens
    30 minutes (7 km) from Vidhana Soudha

    Start your morning with a visit to the Lalbagh Botanical Gardens. Spread over 240 acres, this park is home to a variety of flora and fauna. You can also visit the Glass House, a greenhouse that is used for hosting flower shows. After lunch, head to the ISKCON temple, a huge temple complex that is dedicated to Lord Krishna. In the evening, visit the Bangalore Fort, which was built in 1537 by Kempe Gowda, the founder of Bangalore. The fort has witnessed many battles and is a historical landmark in the city.

If you have some extra time, you can visit the Ulsoor Lake, which is a great place for boating and has a beautiful walking path. You can also visit the Bannerghatta National Park, which is home to a variety of wildlife, including tigers, lions, and elephants.
