  1. Day 1: Shaniwar Wada Fort

    Shaniwar Wada is a historical fortification in the heart of Pune city. It was built in 1732 and served as the seat of the Peshwas until 1818. Start your day here to explore the stunning architecture and learn about the rich history of the Maratha Empire. Visit the palace and the surrounding gardens in the morning.

    In the afternoon, visit the Raja Dinkar Kelkar Museum, which is only 10 minutes (2 km) away from the fort. The museum has a vast collection of Indian artifacts, including paintings, sculptures, and musical instruments.

    In the evening, head to the nearby Dagdusheth Ganpati Temple. The temple is known for its striking architecture and sculptures. You can attend the evening aarti and marvel at the beautiful idol of Lord Ganesha.
