3-Day India Itinerary

  1. Day 1: The Taj Mahal
30 minutes (7.5 miles) from Agra Fort

In the morning, we will start at the iconic Taj Mahal before the crowds arrive. Built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife, this beautiful marble mausoleum is a symbol of love and a must-visit in India. Afterward, we will explore the Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which served as the main residence for Mughal Emperors. Finally, we will end the day with a visit to the local market where you can shop for souvenirs and sample delicious street food.

  2. Day 2: The Pink City of Jaipur
4 hours (144 miles) from Agra

Start your day by admiring the stunning Hawa Mahal, or Palace of the Winds, a five-story building with a beautiful facade that was designed to allow the royal ladies to watch street festivals without being seen. Next, visit the Amber Fort, a stunning palace complex that sits atop a hill overlooking a lake. In the afternoon, explore the City Palace Museum and the Jantar Mantar, an observatory built in the early 18th century.

  3. Day 3: The Gateway of India in Mumbai
2 hours (123 miles) from Jaipur

Start your morning by visiting the Gateway of India, an iconic monument that was built to commemorate the visit of King George V and Queen Mary to Bombay (Mumbai) in 1911. From here, take a ferry to Elephanta Island to see the ancient Elephanta Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the afternoon, visit the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, a historic railway station that is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Finally, end your day by taking a stroll along the famous Marine Drive promenade and watching the sunset over the Arabian Sea.
