Two-Day Itinerary for Kodaikanal in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Coaker's Walk
    10 minutes (2.5 km) from Kodaikanal Bus Stand

    Morning: Start your day with a refreshing walk at Coaker's Walk, which offers stunning views of the valley and nearby hills.

  2. Day 2: Pillar Rocks
    30 minutes (8 km) from Kodaikanal Bus Stand

    Morning: Start your day by visiting the Pillar Rocks, a set of three giant rock pillars that offer breathtaking views of the surrounding valley.

    Afternoon: Make your way to the Guna Caves, a popular filming location that featured in the movie "Guna". The limestone caves are believed to be around 2,500 million years old.

    Evening: End your day with a visit to the Berijam Lake, which is tucked away in a secluded area of the Palani Hills. You can enjoy a peaceful walk or go on a nature trail in the area.

If you have more time, visit the Pine Forest, which offers scenic views and an opportunity to go on a horseback ride. You can also check out the Kurinji Andavar Temple, which is located near the Kodaikanal Lake and is famous for its Kurinji flowers that bloom once in twelve years.
