Dubai City Experiences: 4-Day Itinerary in September 2023

  1. Day 1: Burj Khalifa
    20 minutes (10.3 km) from Dubai International Airport

    Morning: Head to the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, and take the elevator to the observation deck on the 124th floor for stunning views of the city.

    Afternoon: Visit the Dubai Mall, located at the base of the Burj Khalifa, and explore the countless shops and restaurants. Don't miss the Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo.

    Evening: Enjoy the Dubai Fountain show, a spectacular water show set to music and lights that takes place every half hour in the evening.

  2. Day 2: Dubai Museum & Souks

    Morning: Visit the Dubai Museum housed in the oldest building in the city. Learn about the history and culture of Dubai and see traditional Emirati artifacts.

    Afternoon: Head to the Gold Souk and the Spice Souk, both located in the historic district of Deira. Browse the shops and practice your bargaining skills.

    Evening: Take an Abra, a traditional boat, across Dubai Creek and enjoy the sunset views. Have dinner at one of the many restaurants in the area.

  3. Day 3: Palm Jumeirah & Dubai Marina
    25 minutes (18.2 km) from Dubai Museum

    Morning: Drive to Palm Jumeirah, an artificial island shaped like a palm tree. Visit the Atlantis hotel and its Aquaventure Waterpark.

    Afternoon: Head to Dubai Marina, a man-made marina surrounded by skyscrapers. Take a relaxing stroll along the promenade and grab lunch at one of the many restaurants.

    Evening: Take a sunset yacht cruise from the marina and enjoy the views of the city skyline.

  4. Day 4: Dubai Miracle Garden & Burj Al Arab
    30 minutes (16.9 km) from Dubai Marina

    Morning: Visit the Dubai Miracle Garden, the world's largest flower garden, featuring over 45 million flowers in various shapes and colors.

    Afternoon: Drive to the iconic sail-shaped Burj Al Arab hotel and have lunch at one of its luxurious restaurants.

    Evening: Take a final stroll along the Jumeirah Beach and watch the sunset over the Arabian Gulf.

Recommendations

If you have time, consider visiting the Dubai Miracle Garden in the evening when it is illuminated with colorful lights. You may also want to take a day trip to the nearby desert and enjoy a camel ride and a traditional Bedouin dinner under the stars.
