4-Day Nature Itinerary in Sikkim in September 2023

  1. Day 1: Pelling
    2 hours 47 minutes (75.6 km) from Bagdogra Airport

    In the morning, visit the Pemayangtse Monastery, one of the oldest and most significant monasteries in Sikkim. In the afternoon, take a short trek to the Rabdentse Ruins, the second capital of Sikkim. End the day with a visit to Khecheopalri Lake, a sacred lake considered to be a wish-fulfilling lake.

  2. Day 2: Yuksom

    Start your day with a trek to the Dubdi Monastery, the oldest monastery in Sikkim, founded in 1701. In the afternoon, trek to the Kanchenjunga Falls for a refreshing dip and stunning views. End the day with a visit to the Norbugang Park, where the first king of Sikkim was crowned.

  3. Day 3: Gangtok
