Coorg Bachelor Party Itinerary for June 2023

  1. Day 1: Barapole River
    1 hour 20 minutes (40 miles) from Coorg

    Morning: Enjoy a thrilling white-water rafting adventure on the Barapole River. The monsoon season from June to September is the best time for rafting when the river is at its full force.

    Afternoon: Head to a nearby restaurant for a delicious South Indian meal. Try the local specialty, Pandi Curry, which is made from pork and served with rice or Kadumbuttu (rice balls).

    Evening: Take a relaxing stroll through the beautiful Iruppu Falls. The falls are surrounded by dense forests and provide a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

  2. Day 2: Dubare Elephant Camp
    1 hour 30 minutes (50 miles) from Barapole River

    Morning: Visit the Dubare Elephant Camp and learn about the lifestyle of Asian elephants. Take a morning walk with the gentle giants or give them a bath in the nearby river.

    Afternoon: Enjoy a scrumptious lunch at a nearby restaurant, and then head to the Madikeri Fort. The fort provides a panoramic view of Coorg and houses a museum that displays artifacts from the Kodava Empire.

    Evening: Dance your heart out at a local club. Coorg has a vibrant nightlife, and many clubs have live music and a DJ.

  3. Day 3: Tadiandamol Peak
    2 hour 10 minutes (70 miles) from Dubare Elephant Camp

    Morning: Take a trek up the Tadiandamol Peak, the highest mountain in Coorg. Enjoy the scenic view of the surrounding Western Ghats and the lush greenery of the landscape.

    Afternoon: Stop at a nearby café for coffee and snacks. Coorg is known for its coffee plantations, and many cafes offer a variety of coffee blends.

    Evening: End your trip at the Nisargadhama Forest Park. Take a walk through the bamboo forest and cross the hanging bridge to reach the beautiful island formed by the river Cauvery.

Recommendations

If you have extra time, consider visiting the Nagarhole National Park, which is home to tigers, leopards, elephants, and many other wildlife species.
