3-Day Honeymoon Itinerary in Darjeeling in November 2023

  1. Day 1: Tiger Hill
    20 minutes (5.5 km) from Darjeeling

    Start your first morning with a romantic sunrise view at Tiger Hill. Watch the sun slowly rise over the Kanchenjunga peak and enjoy some cherished moments with your partner. After having breakfast, visit the Batasia Loop which is a spiral railway track where the toy train takes a complete loop. Admire the beautiful garden and War Memorial there. In the afternoon, visit the Rock Garden which is a beautiful garden with waterfalls, bridges and much more. In the evening, head to the Mall Road which is a popular shopping and dining area in Darjeeling.

  2. Day 2: Darjeeling Himalayan Railway
    15 minutes (3.5 km) from Darjeeling

    Start your second day by experiencing the UNESCO World Heritage Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, famously known as the "Toy Train". Enjoy the scenic beauty of Darjeeling while riding the train. After this, visit the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park which is a home to various endangered species such as the Red Panda, Snow Leopard, and Tibetan Wolf. In the afternoon, visit the Happy Valley Tea Estate which is one of the oldest tea estates in Darjeeling. Learn about the tea-making process and enjoy a cup of tea with your partner. In the evening, head to the Mahakal Temple and seek blessings for your happy married life.

  3. Day 3: Peace Pagoda
    30 minutes (9 km) from Darjeeling

    Start your last day by visiting the Japanese Peace Pagoda which is a symbol of peace and harmony. From here, you can enjoy the breathtaking view of the surrounding hills and valleys. After this, visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute which has a museum that showcases the history of mountaineering in the Himalayas. In the afternoon, take a cable car ride to the Rangeet Valley Tea Garden which is a picturesque tea garden. Enjoy the panoramic view of the tea garden and take a walk around it. In the evening, visit the St. Andrew's Church which is a beautiful Gothic-style church.
