4-Day Itinerary for North Goa in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Fort Aguada
    20 minutes (6.4 km) from Dabolim Airport

    In the morning, visit the historic Fort Aguada, a 17th-century Portuguese fort located at the mouth of the Mandovi River. Explore the fortifications and enjoy panoramic views of the Arabian Sea. In the afternoon, head to Sinquerim Beach for sunbathing, swimming, and water sports. In the evening, visit the nearby Taj Fort Aguada Resort & Spa for a relaxing dinner and drinks.

  2. Day 2: Basilica of Bom Jesus and Fontainhas
    30 minutes (10.5 km) from Fort Aguada

    Start the day at the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Basilica of Bom Jesus, a 16th-century church containing the tomb of St. Francis Xavier. Afterward, head to the charming Latin Quarter of Fontainhas to admire the colorful Portuguese-style houses and narrow streets. In the afternoon, visit the Anjuna Flea Market for shopping and live music. In the evening, enjoy dinner at the popular Thirsty Bear Gastropub in Baga.

  3. Day 3: Dudhsagar Falls and Spice Plantation
    2 hours (60 km) from Fontainhas

    Take a day trip to the stunning Dudhsagar Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in India. Swim in the natural pool beneath the falls and enjoy a picnic lunch. Afterward, visit a nearby spice plantation to learn about the local flora and fauna, and enjoy a traditional Goan lunch. Return to North Goa for an evening dance performance at the Calangute Beach.

  4. Day 4: Morjim Beach and Chapora Fort
    40 minutes (13.4 km) from Calangute Beach

    On the final day, head to the secluded Morjim Beach for a peaceful morning of sunbathing and birdwatching. Later on, visit the nearby Chapora Fort, famously known for its appearance in the Bollywood movie Dil Chahta Hai. Enjoy stunning views of the Vagator Beach and the Arabian Sea. In the evening, watch the sunset at the popular beach shack, Curlies, in Anjuna.
