Family Friendly 5-Day Sikkim Itinerary for June 2023

  1. Day 1: Gangtok
    30 minutes (19.6 km) from Pakyong Airport

    Start your trip with the serene and peaceful city of Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. In the morning, visit the famous Rumtek Monastery, a serene and peaceful place with a beautiful view. Spend the afternoon exploring the Flower Exhibition Centre and the Sikkim Himalayan Zoological Park. End your day with an evening stroll at M.G Marg, the heart of the city, where you can enjoy local food and shopping.

  2. Day 2: Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir
    2 hours (38.1 km) from Gangtok

    Visit the beautiful Tsomgo Lake, also known as Changu Lake, in the morning. The lake is surrounded by snow-capped mountains and is a sight to behold. Spend the afternoon at Baba Mandir, a spiritual place dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh. Take a yak ride or enjoy the scenery around the temple.   3. Day 3: Pelling and Khecheopalri Lake
