4-Day Itinerary for Kashmir in February 2024

  1. Day 1: Srinagar
    25 minutes (6.8 miles) from Srinagar International Airport

    In the morning, visit the famous Mughal Gardens that are situated on the banks of Dal Lake. Admire the beautiful fountains and terraced lawns. In the afternoon, take a shikara ride on Dal Lake which offers a stunning view of the Zabarwan mountain range. In the evening, explore the local markets and try some of the delicious Kashmiri cuisine.

  2. Day 2: Gulmarg
    2 hours 45 minutes (53.5 miles) from Srinagar

    Head to Gulmarg, which is known as the "Meadow of Flowers". Take a gondola ride to the top of the Apharwat peak and enjoy the breathtaking views of the snow-clad mountains. In the afternoon, go skiing or snowboarding on the slopes of Gulmarg. In the evening, relax in a cozy mountain cabin and enjoy a cup of hot Kahwa tea.

  3. Day 3: Pahalgam
    2 hours 10 minutes (55.9 miles) from Gulmarg

    Visit the picturesque town of Pahalgam, which is situated on the banks of the Lidder River. In the morning, hike to the stunning Betaab Valley which is known for its lush green meadows and crystal-clear streams. In the afternoon, go horse riding or fishing in the Lidder River. In the evening, enjoy a bonfire and some local music.

  4. Day 4: Sonamarg
    2 hours 25 minutes (81.9 miles) from Pahalgam

    Drive to Sonamarg which is known as the "Meadow of Gold". In the morning, visit the Thajiwas Glacier and enjoy a scenic trek. In the afternoon, go white water rafting in the Sind River which offers an adrenaline-pumping experience. In the evening, visit the nearby Baltal Valley and enjoy some local delicacies.
