Recommendations

If you have extra time, consider visiting the Chembra Peak, the tallest peak in Wayanad. The trek to the summit takes about 2-3 hours, but the views from the top are breathtaking. You could also visit the Kuruva Island, a group of small islands located in the middle of the Kabini River. The islands are home to a variety of flora and fauna and are a great place for a picnic. To maximize your fun, consider renting a bike and exploring the scenic backroads of Wayanad. And finally, don't forget to try the local cuisine, which includes delicious dishes like appam, puttu, and kadala curry.
